• Math involves looking at various aspects of mathematics including critical thinking and process skills. This year, all math classes will be double blocked into 90 minute periods. Students will have more time to dive deeper into their understanding of mathematics and critical thinking. Mathematics involves not only processing numbers, but also applying those skills in multiple step problems. The STAAR exam will utilize word problems, charts, graphs, griddables, and various other problems.
