Dr. Wendy G. Mathis
Greetings, Reagan Families!
I am honored to serve as the principal of Reagan Middle School for the 2018-2019 academic year. It is truly a privilege to be a part of an organization where students, parents, teachers and the community work towards one common goal; student achievement.
This year, Reagan Middle School will take a bold step towards increasing student achievement with the introduction of our new "Hybrid" Master Schedule. Our unique schedule allows students to gain additional support in core content based on individualized needs. Additionally, we look forward to further academic integration between our specialized and general student populations. What an exciting time to be a Reagan Knight!
Please see our campus website for updates related to extracurricular events and other pertinent information. You may also contact me at 972.522.7300 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prior to becoming the Principal here at Reagan, I was the Assistant Principal at De Zavala, I taught 5th grade math at De Zavala and 7th grade math at the Young Men's Leadership Academy. I am also an adjunct professor. As an educator, I love helping students turn their “I can’t… into I CAN!”
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (minor in Business Administration) from Prairie View A&M University, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University, and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. I am a life-long learner, as well as a parent, and enjoy sharing my passion for education with everyone that I meet.
Prior to becoming an educator, I worked as an IT Project Manager, a Human Resources Manager, and a Medical Case Manager. I am thankful for the opportunity to join Reagan Middle School and look forward to serving the faculty, staff, students, and community.
