Counselor M-Z
Hello! My name is Debbie Hartman and this is my 10th year at Reagan and 10th year in Grand Prairie ISD. Before coming to Reagan, I was a high school counselor for several years in Fort Worth, Katy, South Texas, and even a year in the Bush of Alaska in Scammon Bay (ask me about tasting whale). Before becoming a counselor, I helped with the growth of the AVID program in Fort Worth ISD. Helping students become College and Career Ready has always been very important to me. But my passion is students. I truly believe education is a calling. I cannot remember a time where I did not want to be a teacher/counselor.
I am a mom to 4 of the most amazing adults. Three girls and a son. My oldest daughter teaches 8th grade ELA in Richardson ISD. But my pride and joy are my granddaughters. One is a 9th grader and the other is 8 going into 3rd grade!
I absolutely love being a part of the Reagan Knight family. We have a very strong staff who genuinely care about the future of our students. Please do not hesitate to call, drop by or email me with any concerns. My door is always open!
