• Mission Statement

The Grand Prairie ISD Instructional Media program provides lifelong learning skills for 21st century learners. The program ensures that all staff and students are empowered with information literacy and emerging technologies through collaborative lessons designed with Instructional Media staff. The love of reading and literacy is fostered by providing access to both print and electronic resources.

  • Welcome!  The School for the Highly Gifted Library is housed in the Dubiski Career High School Library. Students are welcome to check out books, read, work on projects, play chess and relax in our beautiful two-story library. Two classroom areas, two seminar rooms, one lecture hall, one small conference room, and soft seating areas are available to classes.

The library offers a variety of print, audio, and electronic resources to students. Links to these are located on the right on the Resources and eBooks for Online Research page. Password lists for the databases are available in the library, from teachers, or email Belinda Stanley for the passwords. Students may search the library collection through the link on the right, but please feel free ask Mrs. Stanley for help in finding anything you need or want.
