Mr. Rodney Kasper
Rodney Kasper is GPCI's CTE and Engineering Coordinator, teaches Intro to Engineering Design, Aerospace, and Algebra, and is the house leader for Yale.
Mr. Kasper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Studies, with an emphasis on Secondary Mathematics from Western Governors University. This is a fully online college that requires use of various forms of technology, which required Mr. Kasper to be completely self-driven to complete. He says this experience is something he will use to help students learn to take charge of their own educational achievement. He has served in the United States Marine Corps, working inside the communication and navigational equipment for various aircraft, including helicopters. Mr. Kasper also has over 17 years of experience as an Avionics technician on commercial aircraft operated by Delta Air Lines, including an instructor for the B737 autopilot system.
Mr. Kasper has taught in various aspects for over 25 years and has been a part of GPISD for the last five years. Mr. Kasper has successfully taught 8th grade math through Geometry PAP at a previous school and brings high expectations to his students.
Mr. Kasper is married and has three daughters, and he has coached his oldest 2 in softball for more than 14 years. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and enjoys the wildlife he encounters.
