Mr. Bill Sack
Bill Sack teaches Physics at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy. This is Mr. Sack's 12th year in education, and it's his first year with GPFAA. He looks forward to growing with the GPFAA students as they work toward achieving their personal life goals.
After serving with the US Army, in both the infantry and as an Army Bandsman, Mr. Sack earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Letourneau University. After graduating, he worked in a number of fields as a manufacturing engineer, project engineer, and senior field technician. From there, he began teaching physics, mathematics, and principles of engineering in the DFW Metroplex. During this time, he earned a Masters of Liberal Arts degree at Dallas Baptist University.
Most recently, Mr. Sack owned and operated two small businesses that serviced the oil and gas industry. The first was a trucking firm that hauled sand throughout the southwest region in support of fracking operations. The second trained industrial workers, truck drivers and field operators in safety and safe operations. Mr. Sack has also consulted with other business owners to establish or improve their safety programs. He is a certified Occupational Safety and Health Professional and OSHA trainer.
Bill has been married for 31 years to his childhood sweetheart. His wife is a middle school counselor. The couple has three grown sons, who they are very proud of.
