Mr. Nicholas Brown
Nicholas Brown teaches OnRamps Computer Science, Digital Media, 8th Grade College & Career Readiness, 9th Grade AVID, and 7th Grade STEM at GPCI. Mr. Brown also assists with leading the Project AIR GPCI Airplane Build Program, oversees the GPISD CTE Certification program (OSHA, CyberSafety, and Workforce Ready certifications) for GPCI, is a co-advisor for the SkillsUSA chapter at GPCI, and is the advisor for the Harvard University Advisory House (9th Grade).
This is Mr. Brown’s 2nd year at GPCI, after teaching one year in another district. Before entering the education profession, Mr. Brown worked at Bell Helicopter for 10 years in manufacturing and continuous improvement, building flight components for military and commercial aircraft. His educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education, Student Ministry concentration, from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Brown also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies, Youth Ministry concentration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, both awarded by Howard Payne University.
Mr. Brown is married and has two sons. In his time away from GPCI, Mr. Brown is actively serving at his church, playing bass guitar. He also loves cheering on his favorite local sports teams (Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, TCU Horned Frogs), along with visiting tourist attractions.
