    TWLA Initiatives

    Travis World Language Academy, a Grand Prairie ISD charter, opened its doors to over 700 PreK-6th grade students in August 2015. It now serves more than 900 students and has recently added 8th grade to its roster. Excited staff, students and parents are enjoying a renewed commitment to student achievement with an innovative focus on language acquisition and development of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills.
