Adams Will Go Digital In The Coming Years

  • Adams is proud to be a Digital Arts and Technology Academy. We’re excited to have a great group of educators and students along for the ride.

Adams is one of ten schools that was awarded a grant from the Texas Education Agency. We’re proud to be the only North Texas school that won, bringing 1.5 million dollars to our campus. During the next few years, we plan to add a Radio, TV, and Film Sound Lab, two Digital Technology Labs, equipped with iMacs, Cameras, and Animator ready stations, a 3D Printer, Animation Kits, App Creation Spaces, Interactive Game Creation software, digital badging, and more! Our teachers will teach a technology driven curriculum to each of the students, preparing our children for 21st century jobs.

With our new Digital Arts and Technology Academy, we will offer students four different pathways—Film and Video Production, Animation and Motion Graphics, Interactive Media and Game Development, and Web-based Application Development.

By the time students complete middle school, students will have successfully completed a pathway program and will present a large-scale presentation to culminate their three years of middle school.

As our campus evolves, you will see a new logo and branding reflected on our website, social media, and the campus itself.

This summer, we will be doing some construction to add more computer labs for students and begin the first phases of our transformation process.

Please be sure to check our website frequently for updates. We are anxious to share all of the great things in store for our students!
