The COVID-19, a respiratory illness caused by the novel (new) coronavirus, has presented unique challenges, however our district’s commitment to safety, security, and academic choice offerings remains strong.  The spread of COVID-19, is monitored closely by Grand Prairie ISD.  Regular updates and guidance from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath and other local, state and federal agencies are reviewed to guide the district’s response, prevention, and mitigation efforts.  As the COVID-19 conditions continue to change across the state and our local community, Grand Prairie ISD is committed to serving our learning community based on the most up-to-date information and guidance released by our state officials and local/state/federal agencies.  It is our priority to keep the community informed of any changes and updates.  The GPISD website will provide the most up-to-date information.
