Extracurricular Opportunities
Garden Club - 3-5 students learn about working and maintaining a garden. Growing plants and food.
Art Club - 3-5 Focuses on art techniques and projects that are displayed in a big Art Show.
Athletic Club - 3-5 students learn how to play different sports and learn new skills. Students learn about teamwork and exercising.
Music Club - 3-5 students learn about music history and different types. They also practice and perform shows for our school.
Kindness Crew - A team of students that works to promote kindness and compassion around the campus and community by doing community projects, social learning activities, and inspiring acts of kindness.

What type of technology do students have access to at Williams Elementary
We are a one-to-one campus and so all students have their own assigned iPads in K - 5th Grades.

Can students that live outside of Grand Prairie ISD attend Williams Elementary?
Yes, we are an open enrollment district. Families must complete an application, meet the established criteria for out of district, school of choice students and the campus will approve students based on school capacity.

Can anyone participate in the Dual Language Program?
Yes, any student no matter their language can participate in our Dual Language Program beginning in Kindergarten.

Do students wear uniforms at Hobbs William?
No. We follow the dress code of GPISD as outlined in the student handbook.

Why should I send my child to Hobbs Williams?
We focus on meeting student’s needs. We build relationships with students, parents, and the community for all of us to work together for student success. We also received the Blue-Ribbon National Award winner.
