I can't wait to spend the year with your child in Project Based Learning! PBL is where students work on a standards based project while problem solving, working with a team, and learning important 21st century skills. In PBL, the students are given an outline of a project to research and create. While there is still direct teaching throughout the project, the students are able to take control of their own learning and make the project their own.

In addition to PBL, I will be serving our campus as an Interventionist for all grade levels.

Just a little about me. I  grew up in a small town where I attended K-12. After graduating from High School, I attended Cisco Junior College for a year. I then transferred to Howard Payne University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education in December 1999. In June of 2018, I completed my Master of Education in Educational Administration at Grand Canyon University. I love teaching and look forward to moving into administration in the coming years.

My family and I reside in Grand Prairie where we stay busy with our kids events and going to see our students perform in their events as often as we can.
