Here at GPISD we are "one team" working together to help develop the whole child socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, linguistically and creatively.

The centers are Texas Rising Star 4 Star Certified Programs.

The Learning Centers follow the district student/teacher calendar and will be closed during the summer. The centers are open from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

  • Curriculum

Curriculum GPISD Employee Child Care Centers utilize Frog Street Press curriculum. Through this curriculum children are taught using themes throughout the year which offer literacy and math lessons daily. Lessons are filled with songs, music, hands-on materials and activities, chants, games, make-believe, and stimulation for children's imagination.  Teachers also use Read-Aloud activities to foster oral language and sense of story, building vocabulary.

"What you teach me birth to three will be what matters most to me. What you teach me three to five will be what makes me grow and thrive.” Dr. Pam Schiller, Frog Street Curriculum Author.
