  • Will meals be provided for students who select virtual school?

  • Are immunizations required for virtual school?

  • Will the asynchronous learners be receiving the same curriculum at the same time as students who are actually in the classroom? For example, if we choose asynchronous learning and then decide to return to the classroom, will my child be at the same place in the instruction cycle as his peers?

  • What will the asynchronous learning schedule look like? How many hours of screen time should we expect?

  • Will distance learning be more structured than it was during the closure last spring? Will these classes be self-paced or virtual lessons with the teacher?

  • How will online virtual school be different from at-home learning during the closure last spring?

  • Will students who choose asynchronous learning be able to participate is school clubs such as Destination Imagination, dance teams, music clubs, and media clubs (Garner Fine Arts Academy)?

  • How will virtual school be staffed?

  • My son is scheduled to start Pre-K 4 this year. If we choose the online option, will it be free?
