The GPISD Board of Trustees is committed to recognizing our staff for the roles they play in ensuring student success.
Following a legislative overview specifically addressing HB 3, the Board approved an employee compensation plan for the 2019-2020 school year.
Teachers with 0-5 years of experience will receive $1,200. Teachers with six or more years will receive $1,250.
All other eligible employees (excluding executive directors and above) will receive an increase averaging 2% of the midpoint.The District’s starting salary for first-year teachers is $55,250.
