Paper Packet Pickup
From now on out we'll only be on campus on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8a-noon. If you requested a packet, it is available for pick-up.

Paper Packet Pickup
Paper packet pickup will be available on Friday, April 3rd, 2020 in the drive-thru food service line from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Packets will only be available for those students who specifically requested a paper packet. See the list below to verify.
If you need to request paper packets due to lack of Wi-Fi access in your home, please complete the form below. We will complete your request as quickly as we can and contact you when your packet is available for pick up.
If you have Wi-Fi at home, but need to request an iPad for your student, please complete the form below. You will be contacted when your student's device is ready for pick up.
We need your help! Since we were not able to take your Class of 2020 Panoramic Photo, we've decided to create one of our own! If you would like to be included in the panoramic photo collage that will be featured in your graduation program, please submit your favorite photo from senior year to or email your photo to Photos must be submitted by Monday, April 13th, 2020. 
Photo guidelines:
  • Image must be of yourself only (no group photos)
  • Image must be school appropriate (no inappropriate gestures, hand signs, or clothing)
  • Image must be of good quality (low-resolution photos will not be used)
There is now a place for students to go to receive technology help! Visit for valuable tutorials and videos that will help you work through several common technology issues. If the problems you are experiencing are still not resolved, email

Email is available 24/7 for students or parents to enter issue requests. Technician response and repair Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, closed Saturday & Sunday. If a device needs hands-on repair, an appointment for drop off will be made.

Paper Packet Pick-Up Temporarily Postponed

Paper Packet pickup for Grand Prairie High School is being temporarily postponed. We will reach out to you when we are able to resume pick up. Students needing paper packets will not be penalized for the submission of late assignments during this postponement. If your student is in a special program, (DLS, Care LS, or Functional Skills), packets for your student are available on campus for pickup. 
iPad Needed
If your student did not receive an iPad this school year but is needing one now, please complete the request form below. We will contact you when your child's device is ready for pick up. Parent must be present for pickup to sign permission form. 

In an effort to continue your student’s instruction and to complete required lessons for the 2019-2020 school year throughout this indefinite school closure, GPISD is moving all instruction online. We know that this learning mode may be new and different for most of you, but we are here to help in any way that we can. Our teachers will continue to deliver high-quality instruction in the methods described below.

GPHS teachers will be reaching out to parents this week via Skyward email. Please check your email regularly for your student’s course lessons, resources, assignments, and deadlines. Respond to your student’s teachers to confirm that you are receiving their emails and let them know if your student needs technology support. See Skyward Access information below if you need help.

All teachers will be linking course content via Canvas, so that you have a one-stop-shop to see all of your student’s lessons and assignments. Some specialized courses (AP, Dual Credit, Practicum CTE, etc.) may be using a different online platform, but these are tools with which your students are already familiar.

Teachers will be available throughout this period to provide additional support in any way that they can. We are committed to your student’s success. Please contact your student’s teacher if you have any content-specific questions.

We know that many of you have concerns about how all of these changes will affect your senior students. We are in daily conversations with district and state officials, receiving clarifications and guidance as it relates to our graduating students.
