Mr. Aaron King is a lifelong resident of Grand Prairie and a product of Grand Prairie schools. He attended Eisenhower Elementary, Dalworth Elementary, Adams Middle School, Grand Prairie High School, and one year at Winfree Academy where he graduated. After graduation, Aaron attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Service to become a funeral director. Aaron's family, as far back as his grandparents, attended Grand Prairie schools.
Aaron has four children, one of which is special needs. Both of his parents have been educators in GPISD. His wife, Brandie, is currently serving on the GPISD Education Foundation Board.
Aaron works for Oak Grove Memorial Gardens as the Park Superintendent and a Funeral Director. He currently serves on the Dallas Institute of Funerals Service Advisory Board. He is a member of the Irving Ambucs Club, which creates mobility and independence for people with disabilities. He is also a member of George B. Dealey Masonic Lodge, and serves on the Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful Committee. Aaron and his family have two adopted streets in Grand Prairie for litter pick up. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
