Community Resources
Community Resources:
School counselors and social workers see students in class settings to promote social and emotional growth and to promote healthy character development. This is done in small groups based upon identified need, and sometimes individually. Individual counseling is typically short term and focused on creating a positive change within the school setting. If a parent is seeking therapy for his or her child, you can contact the Social Work Hub at 972-522-7070 for a list of community resources. The list below has been compiled for your information. However, GPISD does not endorse any one individual or agency over another. These therapists and agencies are not affiliated with GPISD, nor are they personally recommended.
