Laigha Boyle, Principal
Laigha Boyle is excited to come back to where her career in education began; the home of the mighty Gophers! Laigha grew up in Lafayette, LA where she graduated high school and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on a full academic scholarship. After graduating from ULL with a B.A in English, Laigha moved to Texas and began her teaching career with Grand Prairie ISD in the 2007 - 2008 school year. She taught English I – IV, Reading, Creative Writing, and Research and Technical Writing at Grand Prairie 9th Grade Center and Crosswinds HS. In 2011, Laigha earned her M.Ed in Administration from Lamar University and began working as an assistant principal at Bill Arnold Middle School. She later became the dean of instruction at Arnold MS and moved on to that role at SGPHS, but now she's back home as a GOPHER! Laigha has a true heart for working with students to prepare them for life after high school.
